Here from the capital of Saudi Arabia, where a car accident happens in every mile in a highway. In order for an agency contracted and assigned to handle insurance claims for auto accidents, the people involved in the accident must stop. The agent arrives within five minutes of the accident and has all the recordings from all the CCTV cameras on the road, as well as permission to have all the recordings from all the cars in order to obtain the information required to settle the insurance claims. It takes 2 hrs for me to get to a car shop, fix my car, and have my car back within 2 days! 😁👍🏼

My dad constantly gets mad at me for cussing like a sailor but studies have been shown that high-cursers are linked to higher intelligence. I'm a 30yo grown woman so ppl just need to get over their puritanical misogynistic pearl-clutching when it comes to cursing. They're just strings of letters some guy decided centuries ago were "bad" for some reason. 😑
@lisao76009 ай бұрын
That's what I always say. Who's to say which words are Bad? If two words mean the same thing, like shit and crap, why is one bad and one fine? Why is okay to replace the F word with a different supposedly milder word like frick that means exactly the same thing and all the sudden it's not a bad word? Lol
@urioriari348 ай бұрын

So the windshield replacement costs aren't going to be just a few hundred much longer due to advancement in vehicle technology. (This is not exclusive to Tesla.) Many new cars now have driver assistant systems (such as lane assist, pedestrian sensors, etc.). Those systems are mounted/installed into, on or around the windshield. This requires recalibration of those systems when the glass is replaced. This is why the cost is now ridiculously high to replace the windshield in newer cars. I prefer to stick with my older cars without all the sensors. Manufacturers are making it harder and harder to work on your own vehicle and it's driving up the maintenance costs. Yes, they are supposed to be making them safer with these features, but some things that are being added aren't needed and are just there for convenience. Some of us still enjoy and like to have the ability to repair our own vehicles.

The mini van stories made me remember the craziest crash ever. As a kid I went down to Florida to see my grandparents with my mom my sister my aunt and cousins. Like an hour away from my grandparents house was a natural spring they turned into a park. So my mom and aunt took us there one day. We took my aunt's minivan. So we spent a day this park had fun swimming in the clearest water I've ever seen it was fun. We get into the van and my aunt starts to back up, out of no where she backs into a tree a tree that wasn't there when we parked and no one saw when we got out and in the car. Busts the whole back window out glass over me and one of my cousins, we somehow didn't get cut up, it mashed in the truck something fierce. We all get out and the tree has a shit ton of glass around and park employees came and where like "yeah everyone hits that tree.." but I swear to God no one saw that tree when she parked. So we rode in the back of the van with plastic on the window the rest of the trip. It was wild
