31:00 … For Alex. I went to art school as well, to be classically trained. I have years of experience with life drawing classes and models. Drew from both male and female models. It’s a professional environment. There are no icebreakers or clearing the air. It’s their job, and it’s your job to focus and learn the anatomy of the human form. The models are NOT there to be sexually objectified. Stay cool and focus on your drawing. Good luck.

i had a baby last november and i really just hate the term “push present” because it’s like “you did this, here’s your reward!”. i’m all about spoiling your partner and showing your appreciation, especially when they’re postpartum. but i think if my partner specifically called it a push present, it wouldn’t feel like a genuine act of love. surprise me with dinner, some hobby that i love (a new book, video game, scrapbooking supplies, etc.), maybe even something you specifically picked out for the baby like an outfit or stuffed animal. all of those things would go further than some expensive gift that i probably wouldn’t really be able to fully appreciate while going through one of the biggest times in my life. also, give it to her at home, not the hospital. you should order her a food she’s been craving though at the hospital.
@bulletsxdame22 күн бұрын
Right, because the love for and from your baby is rewarding enough. Parenthood itself is a gift. I don't think crazy gender reveal parties should be a thing either. Your celebration of gender shouldn't destroy a forest, endanger other people's homes or innocent animals. And recording the event, is just giving investigators evidence. A push present just seems weird. I think Mother's Day definitely suffices.

I wonder if it's because Rhett lived in 2 different places with two different accents when he was little. I grew up with a British family but went to school in Ontario and I have a lot of "difficulty" with "L" words as well, especially words like "Rural". Dang those "L" words!
@mimsydreams18 күн бұрын
I say all of those words the same as Rhett. I think it was learned growing up, cause that's how my family said it. Lots of different southern accents in my fam. I agree that it literally doesn't matter, as long as people understand what you're trying to convey. I work with people from all over the world with various accents, daily. We just have to adapt to new accents and kinda get over the notion of "proper pronunciation" because it doesn't really matter.

I'm lowkey upset that Link think a mother/a person carrying (your) a child doesn't deserve an 'extravaganzza present'. I'm pretty positive that in some Asian culture, a mother gets gold in the same weight as the baby. Yes, it doesn't have to be called "present" nor it has to be expensive, it's just a way to thank your partner for going through hard-time trimesters and painful labour.
@journeejohnson621710 күн бұрын

As someone who's English is their second language, the wolf/golf was very interesting. And I do hear Link say wolf but when Rhett says it, it sounds like "woof". Stephanie Soo's husband is chinese and he says wolf in a rather similar way, it's interesting. There are many words I know how to write in English but when I hear them for the first time, I'm stumped because I never pronunced them that way in my head. Even if I am bilingual, I'll never understand why Colonel is said as "kernel" and kitten is pronunced as kitt'n.

Rhett saying he doesn’t know what to say to celebrities when he meets them is so relatable. In September I met the one and only mythical Jordan Morris at the pantages and I talked to him about a large project I work on. He was so sweet and friendly, but I couldn’t help but think about how I I was interrupting his intermission and I nearly ran off. 🤦🏻♀️ Still the best famous person interaction I’ve ever had despite my awkwardness and I’ve met some cool people living in this area! @coralgardens.official14 күн бұрын
No one said it was transactional that’s such a leap to take from wanting to get someone who potentially struggled through a horrible pregnancy and labor a “present” because you didn’t have to suffer those things and they did and because you love them. It legit could be a card or food or something handmade I think that would mean more to most people. The idea that it’s a transactional expensive gift is kinda ridiculous.
