When I want pomegranate, I usually just buy the seeds already extracted in the produce department. But I get what you are saying about the tactile experience. It's like cracking pistachios or through crab shells. The process itself can be satisfying.

News for impatient people: You can juice pomegranates. Yup. Juice them like you would citrus fruits. It is insanely tasty (there is a bit of feel of tanine too!) and sweet. Pairs well mixed with orange juice too. So, there. Juice your pomegranates. You're welcome.

Rhett needs a new dentist. They're scaring him too much and I think maybe because he can afford to go in every 4 months they're telling him he needs to. If he's brushing and flossing like he says he is, especially with an electric toothbrush, then there is no way he's getting that much buildup. They're just scaring and taking advantage of him.

A lot of people don’t like going to the dentist because of the shame dentists give on top of the anxiety going to the dentist already brings. I went to a dentist one time who was so rude about me having some build up it was miserable.
@jerfsjourneys11 ай бұрын
This and the fear if needles was literally why I waited so long. I have some very messed up teeth and I was afraid of the judgement I would get from a dentist, considering the judgement I get from normal people. I asked around on Facebook groups for my city and found my current dentist and she is the sweetest and least judgemental person. It really alleviated a lot of my anxiety
@joeysnowynoey11 ай бұрын
That’s one of the main reason why I loathe going to the dentist. I literally dread it for weeks beforehand. I also just hate having someone that close to me like that. And I hate the questions or small talk they do while you have your mouth wide open and they’re doing stuff. I just hate everything about it. 😂
@mandine10011 ай бұрын
Same here, I've constantly had dentists who just tell me I'm doing everything wrong and that I should come in waaaay more often because I'm doing everything wrong and then berate me when I don't. I have a new dentist now who just cleans my teeth, does the normal check-ups and asks me if I have any concerns 🤷♂. They treat me like an adult and I schedule my own appointments. I've only had one filling over the 2 years of not going to the dentist because of the pandemic. People shouldn't tolerate rude dentists, esp if you do everything you can for good dental hygiene.

Scrubbing too hard (and also using mechanical exfoliants such as apricot scrub) can cause micro-abrasions in your skin which then can result in bacteria actually getting in and giving you more bumps. A benzoyl peroxide cleanser (Cerave or Panoxyl make good ones) which can help kill the bacteria that cause breakouts on the back, shoulders, etc. might help. 🙂 I used to be a hard scrubber too so I totally understand, but sometimes gentleness is key. Never bad to be more gentle to ourselves. 😊❤️

Rhett’s passive aggressive approach towards those comments is incredibly satisfying. Lately you can’t be in any space with MB where the main topic of conversation isn’t speculating on a friendship downfall or energy shift.
@Lil_Yuri11 ай бұрын
There's being parasocial like genuinely caring about the wellbeing of your favorite content creators and thinking "they'd be fun to chat with and hang with", and then there's... *that* kind of parasocial. A KZbinr who was in the middle of drama a few years back was hearing people speculating about things, and while it wasn't really his place to speak at length about it outside his own involvement, he just said to his chat: "I don't want to hear your hot take about this, because I know more than you", as he actually knew the people involved. And that really stuck with me-- it's normal to wonder about things or be curious, but so many people feel like they know their favorite creator, but without any confirmation, they speak as if they know them, and they confidently tell people their theories as if they're factual when no public information released by the creator(s) confirms it. Doing so is akin to micro conspiracy theorizing, and more than a little intrusive.

I don’t even use fancy cleanser, either; it’s just shower gel from Bath and Bodywork’s. The only thing I had to get used to was the sound and feeling of silicone against my skin. Other than that I have no complaints.

I’m a huge metalhead and while I love concerts of all kinds of genres because I love all genres. Nothing beats a metal concert and I don’t think you’ve experienced live music until you’ve been to a metal or rock show. I love the energy, the feeling, and while it can get hairy in the pit at times it never gets out of hand, at least for the bands and shows I like and been to. I’ve fell many times and always have plenty of people to pick me up. And if I get punched in the face the person that does it is very apologetic about it. 😂
@JJ-ec9lp11 ай бұрын
Yes exactly! People are usually super nice. I’ve been helped up whenever I’ve fallen or apologized to if someone hits me by surprise. I’ve been to a few shows where fights break out or people are being really rude and other people will crowd around whoever is the aggressive one or the one in the wrong to prevent them from hurting anyone and to get security’s attention (or whoever is the biggest man capable of helping). The sense of community is instant, you can make friends with everyone around you so easily. I never feel as alive and happy as I do at a show, and I’m saying that as someone who stays sober. I get moshing isn’t for everyone, I only do it on occasion for bands and songs I really love because I have chronic pain, but I’ve never personally been judged for choosing not to. It’s totally optional and I don’t think “the moshing is too crazy” is a valid reason not to attend a show!

There are washcloths that one side is soft and the other is exfoliating. It's nice because you can wash yourself then throw the washcloth in the washer. It's silicone. Very easy to wash or boil.
@MsLilyPickles11 ай бұрын
There are loofah cloths too. They’re just unfolded, large sheets of loofah material which can be rinsed and hung on a rod. Because they’re not folded, they dry faster and don’t breed bacteria the same way the folded version does. They’re also great for scrubbing your back all over because they’re pretty long. I find cloths aren’t abrasive enough for me - and I don’t like having to add them to my already overwhelmed laundry basket.

He was at least 7 feet tall and as wide as a bus. He was so much bigger than the next biggest guy that as he walked though the Pitt it looked like he was an adult walking among children. He was literally picking people up and just throwing them. I got kicked in the face by a guy he threw into us. That's when I left the pit area. Lol The next wildest one was a Misfits concert in Detroit. It was the craziest push I'd ever seen in a pit when they came on stage.
