as someone who has owned a whole range of cars, currently own an EVO V, i had a DC2 Type R about 7 years ago a man that car still to this day holds a special place, my evo is the better car but the experience the Type R gave me going all the way 9.5k rpm was something else

MacPherson strut suspension can perform phenomenally well when it’s properly designed. As shown by every M3 ever produced, and most Porsche 911s.

It's certainly a downgrade from the older Hondas with wishbones. The steering feel isn't great and it's probably my least favorite thing about the car along with the electric steering in the ep3. But the engine, transmission, lsd and the chassis make up for it.

Considering that it was a hot day, the beating that engine took without needing to be given a rest due to high heat, speaks volumes for the engine. A very nice example of a track-capable daily driver. The other cars/bikes: It isn't my fault, my accelerator wasn't working properly today 🤥

So far every dc5 ive seen you drive, are all good, all fun, all quick, all street daily capable. I really want to see a bigger build dc5 out there. Tuned suspension that can handle the NR, turbo or SC or na just more power, some 255 -265 action up front with proper grippy tires, something that can climb that 6th gear or maybe even have a different 6th. I realize those dc5 aren't all over the place let alone in Germany but thats the one I want to see, or see you build...

I don’t drive it frequently, but I absolutely love my DC5 Type-S. It’s not the fastest, but what else can you buy with a crisp six speed and an 8,000+ rpm redline these days which doesn’t cost a fortune? And can also enjoy everything the car has to offer on a regular back road?
