This is my favorite upload of a pool match, no annoying commentators smacking their lips and chewing constantly...just one camera angle and a good match.

good presentation, good shooting, clear video picture, and no commentator talking nonsense.

Best I've seen Earl play in a while, when he's not strapping himself down with weights and getting angry with the crowd to focus himself he's still one of the best, when he's relaxed and not searching for perfection he comes pretty close to finding it, shame

Mike Drumgold your right tho.. earls only rival was always himself . When he hits that high gear ive never seen anyone close to earl

it's a cue extendor. people use it for long shots as an option over a bridge. earl is just whimsical like that and decided to keep it since he got used to it.

11-5 looks like a comfortable win for Earl, but Parica played great too. Earl had a few nice rolls, and Parica had no luck on his break whatsoever. Parica has such a smooth style, and he showed some great kicks and position play. Anyway, two of the greats!

Earl in his prime was amazing. Arguably the best 9 ball player in history. JMHO

No one cares. And personally, music is a matter of taste - which your opinion wasn't solicited. Be GRATEFUL to the original uploader and the INCREDIBLY high quality video we were provided - along with a SPECTACULARLY high level of play. To notice anything else calls seriously in to question your capacity to focus - which I'll bet is evidenced in replete by what I'd guess is C caliber of play. Let me know if you'd ever like to pick the music and play some triple digit sets.

What do you think blues rock and Motown was in the 50s, 60s and 70s? It was the dance pop of its day. Playing old music out of some ill-conceived reverence for the "old days" is at least as phony as Justin Bieber or Katy Perry, in my opinion.

plenty care, like our players over here that know top 40 blingjiggy shit is for nightclubs and such. my ability to focus during my play is not affected by the surroundings, i just appreciate a knowledgeable dj that realizes a poolhall is not a strip club. there are certain rules in 8, 9, 10, 14.1, one pocket, etc, why not certain rules for the environment, like no katy perry & bieber & feminem? because of the almighty $. btw, i'm semi-pro, c caliber was when i started.

two great players.Strickland was relaxed and on his game. Hard to beat him when he's like that. Parica did very well also but Strickland was just in the zone. Anyone looking for pool lessons go to: "playerspoolandbilliard"

@smugglinbooze oh, so wrong you are. again, i repeat, you don't play mozart in a strip club. i did come here to watch the action, really sucked that i had to mute it due to hearing the brainwashing audio pollution that is modern pop, which has absolutely no place in a real poolhall. very simply, there some things that just shouldn't be done. hurting puppies, putting out fires with gas, or playing LMFAO type shit in a poolhall. also, i have a very respectable, thick 7.5 incher, so open wide.

i'm posting this comment 9mins into the match... i've never been to amsterdam billiards, but i will one day. however, it is extremely disappointing to hear bullshit, blingjiggy, top 40, urban dance, pop hop, partytime, stripclub "music" in a world renowned pool hall. it's just not appropriate for the setting & environment. imagine a stripclub playing mozart or willie nelson... a real poolhall isn't a bar or club with a few tables away from the dancefloor. should be blues, blues-based ...(tbc)
@jdbankshot13 жыл бұрын
...blues-based classic rock from the 50's, 60's, & 70's, motown & stax funk & soul, anti-puffy real hip hop circa 79-96, modern alternative rock, you get the drift...NEVER,EVER this phony audio shite meant to brainwash & sell product to the weak-minded masses. it's like bieber playing in a hells angels bar. i mean, really, feminem & katy perry & fergie & usher in a real poolhall in nyfuckinc? this comes from a longtime bar & pub dj who is on the path to becoming a pool pro. NO MORE B.S. DANCEPOP
