Are the differentials the same teeth count. The Typhon blx and Typhon Mega have different tooth count on the diffs. Mega diff is 49T and blx is 37T Mega input gear is 17T - blx is 13T That could be the difference not just aerodynamics. Fantastic watching you earl hooe your keeping well.

You could prolly squeeze more out of the 4s hd slipper assembly in the 3s blx housing. Ive had good experiences with my senton 4x4 build handles the abuse very well.

Once again earl thanks for this video I personally haven’t decided btwn the vendetta and infraction until this video the vendetta in my opinion is just a better value for speed running u get a higher kv motor better receiver and radio and just with an esc change I have a chance to hit 104 vendetta for the win

I agree there really two different rc with all the parts to get it close to the same rc the vendetta is a better value even at the additional cost it’s cheaper in the long run specially with Jenny rc ESC take off parts way better to hit 100 mph 🔥🔥👍👍

The wind might of been messing with the signal might have to put the antenna wire in a plastic tube and put it thur the body. I'm glad the truck didn't flatten it. Nice run ,89 mph you might get it faster yet. Nice video!

84mph was my guess🤔. I do like the look, as one of my favourite rc's is its big brother. That's the only problem converting from brushed to brushless it always ends up being more expensive than buying brushless to start with😐. Part of the enjoyment is converting/experimenting👍👍

I bought one of these on sale in a scratch & dent sale for 160$. Put a castle 2400kv motor, 130amp Spektrum ESC a new 6 channel receiver, drive shaft support, 50t spur and 19r pinion. I was able to hit right around 55mph or so. It’s a fun truck, I’m mainly using it for drifting though. I’ll grab a bigger pinion and see what I can squeeze out of it. On 4s it drifts awesomely, but gotta be careful or you’ll destroy the motor mount or axles.

I have the vendetta and was going to use a 4s 2400kv motor that I have and was wondering if a 34t pinion would fit in the stock housing? I’ve been using a 32t and seemed like that was as large as I could go. What’s your opinion on the 2400 kv with the vendetta? Thanks Earl

I’ve had trouble with everyone of the spectrum dx2 and dx3 radios or the receivers one not wanting to connect to each other it takes them forever to connect when you first turn them on or go out of range.

I think you maxed out the Infraction it was never intended for speed runs more drifting around a bit slight bash etc. I think what’s holding it up is the drive ratios inside the diffs gearing but that’s just a guess. ✌🏻😎🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿I guessed 85mph & that was with the vendetta wheels on. I suck at guessing how fast something is going 😂. I’m kind of shocked the off-road wheels held up & went over my estimate. Both sets of those wheels are doing well from what I’ve seen so far. Arrma needs to release a BLX version now. I did hear that Arrma Maybe has another release coming out for Christmas. I hope it’s a BLX version & we Should also see a rally on this platform at some point. I know they have been working on a rally for years but it always gets pushed back for something else. It would take much to put one together for the 3S platforms.

Yes idk about twice but the temp will get hotter faster so check after each full trigger pull and set a temp cut

Everything Spectrum I've got is broken & it broke quickly too.! All 3 ESCs went bad the very first time I took them out in the wet & since I live in Scotland wet is all we get.! 2 transmitters steering return springs broke within a couple of months, 1 came out the box with a seized trim knob, followed by all 3 servos not long after.! I don't think the motors are terrible.. Not amazing, but not bad.. About as good as the Surpass 3660 KK series that I buy off Ebay for £15. I run Hobbywing SC8 ESCs in most of my 10th scale stuff (120A/4S for £40👍) & I know for a fact they can be fully submerged (for nearly 10 minutes while you frantically search through the heather for the stream you didn't bloody well know was just off the road you went tumbling off at about 60mph)😂 😂 😂 😜 Those red metal geared 25kg £10 DS servos serve me well & Dumbo RC radio gear do good duty too. My V1 Senton has been run to absolute death that way for nearly 2 years & I've only replaced 1 servo.!.. & a body.! So... I've replaced all the cheap crap being passed off as quality gear.... with quality gear being sold cheap.!!! 😜 LOL.!! Oh they'll replace it if you send it back right enough... But the problem with that is, THEY REPLACE IT WITH MORE BLOODY SPECTRUM CRAP.!!! 😜😂 😂 😂 😜 It's honestly not even worth the walk to the post office.! Arrma tough... Spectrum SH*T.!!! UTTER SH+T.!! IT'S AN INSULT.!! I only ever own Spectrum crap because it's what comes in the Arrma stuff... It was a pleasure to get my Limitless roller... I've fitted cheapish gear in it too & I'm more than happy.! Chears Earl, I love the channel mate, you're right up there at the top imho.!.. I have all spektrum 130amp 4s and constantly dealing with cut outs but every once in awhile ill get a perfect pass and reached 91mph with 28t pinion and 50t spur. Used high pinion and still wouldnt go faster than 91mph. Doing the mamba x next with another motor
