What kind of moron gives this a thumbs down?! Alison Krauss' fantastic singing voice backed up by an incredible band. It doesn't get any better than this. She also performed it at the 50TH anniversary of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band at the Ryman Auditorium. It was fabulous as well with Sam Bush in the band. I see the late Randy Scruggs is on guitar in this version.

Oh my, there are so many musicians, singer-songwriters, out there but in relative obscurity. A bunch of those people are women who have been redefining bluegrass, and country. I don't know where to start with a list, but let me know if you are interested and I will point you in the direction of folks playing some badass songs and such. One thing, have you ever seen Sierra Hull play mandolin and sing? She was helped up into the music industry by performing with Alison Krauss when she (Sierra) was in about the 2nd grade. Alison was brought up and out into prominence in the same way; very young. Sierra Hull is all grown up now, still playing mandolin with her band, performing, and blazing new trails for women, in bluegrass and mandolin playing. Both of those fields have been male dominated for a very long time.

When I first heard this song I was overwhelmed. And I was wondering who was that beautiful lady, that sings so effortless, bright and full of passion. Now I know who she is, in Europe nobody knows her, but this is completely unjustified. I've never heard such a beautiful voice and I became one of her biggest fans. Hey Chris-speak for yourself (no ofense)- I am Croatian great fun of Country music for almost 25 years (and banjo player )-when Country music was what it was and will live forever- not this crap tatooed creeps in Nashville sing nowadays. The lovely lady is Alisson Crauss fantastic pure bluegrass vocal and fiddle player in her band Union Station.Yet you are 80% right Chris- Europe, especially "todays" Europe is sure not Kentucky or Tennessee and I also believe very few are keen to this kind of music.
