The German word for lynx is "Luchs". Pronounced "looks". So that's a pretty cool name there.

Don't know much about the Lynx scene, but I do know that electronics repair wizard GadgetUK (GadgetUK164 on KZbin) did a rather lovely, freely available port of the old C64/ZX Spectrum game Alien (based upon the movie of the same name) for the Lynx a few years ago. Noice, I've sort of put the lynx on a low priority of handhelds to pick up but it may be finally time to source one. This may be a controversial opinion but I think both versions of the lynx are damn ugly, but with the new screen and a flash cart I'm sure I can learn to love it
