Hey Joe, sometimes the tog meet has little black spots in it. Some more experienced fisherman told me it when the are eating muscles. Got me thinking, are we allowed to use the muscles from the jetty rocks or bridges for bait?

Absolutely I’ve used them in the past, just a little tougher due to the soft nature of the bait. Most guys I know use mesh to keep it on hook

I've seen that dark spots in the meat of tog. I was told the same exact thing about them eating mussels.
