So after your first client, how did you grow the biz? You guys never circled back to that. You simply posted ads in facebook buy in sell groups? How did you get into commercial? I'm 100% novice here interested in maybe giving it a "go" hah Appreciate all tips!

Another great video. I offer window cleaning and pressure washing services, and some of the houses I come across have poop 💩 in the yard. Some jobs I’ve turned down, because I didn’t want to step in dog poop while working. I’m thinking of adding this service as an add on.

As a service contractor for 40 years in Ca, much of which for Relators or owners with multiple single or multi residences, I can state there is no amount of money that can justify the risk/liability of working for an HOA. It is a when not an if on your getting sued either by them, in addition to them, or by their unhappy owners you are working for. This is why your General Liability Policy specifically excludes HOA's unless you specifically add them.

21:15 So you have to sanitize your equipment to not contaminate other yards but do the landscapers sanitize their mowers after going over it?
@sumleegai28 күн бұрын
Great question. Never really thought of that. Landscapers probably spread more animal feces from yard to yard than a scooper ever would. We all know the answer to that question is no, so therefore why is it an added service/cost to the scooper? If you're a landscaper you should add the poop scoop service prior to your mowing service. You could send in your scooper team prior to your mow and really rake in the cash.
@CharlyCD9328 күн бұрын
@ thank you for the answer. Then it would be a matter of scheduling between the scooper and landscaper. But would the landscaper get a “cut” by increasing the scoopers price?

The yards in Las Vegas were small, and poop patrol was not my favorite chore after work. She's in the right place for that service: the yards are small and poop becomes obvious because there's not alot of rain or grass to dissapate it.

As for hauling it away, best practice is to check with your city. See what transfer station / dump / landfill / organic waste facility it should be taken to according to local laws. Don't put bags of poop in random dumpsters.

Exactly! Don't label your business as a "removal" service. I am a "pick up" service and you will be made aware that the waste goes in your garbage cans. Easiest way to do it.
