If its is okay to say so without being placed in the biggest pinkest chair afforded as house speaker of the LGBTQ community I want to share how deep my love is for Earnest Lee Thomas runs. I grew up running to the television to hear his laugh as "Rodg", the intro instrumental to "What's Happening" with Dwayne dribbling the basketball passing it or being passed the ball from "Re-run" and the tone he used when he would get a hug from "Mama" and say "Mama... I cant breathe!" You helped to entertain a nation of children and teenagers just like me who grew up in households financially poor yet, rich in love, laughter and gratefulness of such shows making it mainstream. The drugs was a part of the game and only adds to your being relatable, real and as an obstacle you overcame it cemented the fact of you being an inspiration. We love you my brother! May the "Creator" continue to bless you and keep you.
