How is your water system from the lake working out? Thank you for your channel. When I was younger we had a relatively large garden for the city. When we planted our tomato plants I would make a large hole. I shovel square and the mix half dirt and half compost. Those tomato plants were so much healthier and larger than just putting them in a small dirt hole.

Have you thought of a manure spreader to distribute the compost you make? They're simple and an run with your tractor.
@Asptuber5 жыл бұрын
My guess is that getting it out and hitching it to the tractor (or quad? can't exactly remember how the "chicken tractors" are moved) would be too much work for 3 times 12 m2 every day... 3mx4m= 12m2 is about as big as a very very small cabin on a ship, and it looked like the vacated spaces from the chickens weren't contiguos, so it is really 3 times small rectangles, not even one 36m2 (which is about the size of a large room) area.

What a wonderful video. Your boys are growing so quickly it seems. Such wonderful children. They’re so proud of themselves for feeding Lucky and being able to do it themselves. I wish all children had this opportunity. To have parents willing and patient to teach them as well as learning the importance of what they’re doing. So beautiful. I absolutely love what you’re doing and how you do it. Your positive attitude towards your viewers and encouragement is heartwarming and so genuine. Thank you so much for sharing your family and farm. God Bless you and yours. ~Lisa

Wow, it looks like that compost is helping to absorb the Nitrogen load of the chicken manure. Brilliant. I notice theres less of burned out look to the grass from previous days. Thanks for again highlighting the growing fertility of your farm as a consequence of your regenerative practices.
