Whenever I think of Eartha Kitt, I remember her interview with Terry Wogan, she was playful, seductive, and emotionally raw. You could see her facade fading and wounds exposed. When she said, " A man has always wanted to lay me down, but he never wanted to pick me up. And the men that did have real love and affection for me, were the ones that never touched me." brought me to tears, cause I could relate.

My dad told me that when she came out with "Santa Baby," it was a HUGE controversy (especially at Christmas!) because a black woman _dared_ to be sexy and seductive...with Santa, of all people!
