This is so beautiful, and so needed for our world to know right now. I did a workshop with Sobonfu years ago and just came looking for her words of wisdom in contemplating how to bring community together, and i am deeply touched. She was a wisdom keeper who held the wisdom of how to live in community, and through her teachings she still shares it even though she has left her body. Thank you Sobonfu.

She is an amazing woman that has changed my life in so many ways. The rituals are transforming, but more than that she is real and helps you to feel comfortable in your own skin.

I read her book and am very inspired by the Dagaaba way of life. I love the spiritual values in intimacy and relationships in all aspects of the Dagara community.

I embrace this a lot cause i feel like this opposite of what I learned as an American. So much stuff in this country is about division, being self made, and working for yourself. Then when I learn about traditional African perspectives i got totally different perspective. One that's extremely Humane. Many traditional African perspectives actually completely promote what we need in the states, Unity that is. Get back to your roots Good people.

What should I do if there are people in my community (parents) who think badly about those of us who, In your tradition are called gatekeepers or witches?
