I listened to Earthsearch when was first broadcast between January and March 1981. It was Fantastic, and listening to it again brings back great memories of Earthsearch 😊 It is still a Fantastic Radio series. The BBC made great programmes in the last century, far superior to rubbish the BBC produces today in the 21 Century. Thank You so much for uploading Earthsearch 😊 God Bless

Yes i to listened to it through the early Eighties , on my SHARP stereo music center loved how the ANGELS came through different speakers om my Hi Fi . It is a terrific series i would have loved to have it seen on the big screen along with James Follet's other work. He was a visionary and a great author.

this is great but the end is a bit of a letdown. we should have heard the angels begging telson and sharna not to kill them. bit of an anticlimax really.

Just listened to episode two and it crazy that these four that are versed in astronavigation and astrophysics never heard of Time Dilation or Relativity Theory.

They're only versed in what the Angels allowed them to be. And the Angels didn't know about them either, not since the great Meteoroid strike destroyed a lot of their knowledge.

Afraid to say that for me there's just too many threads in this production. Subplots in subplots. It was difficult to develop any kind relationship with any of the characters as they whizzed around doing absolutely nothing, growing pubes and genitalia which felt a tad wrong when you were led to see them as overgrown children. The Adam and Eve, 🍏 + 🐍 just served as an unnecessary distraction annoying and stereotypical. Sorry, bring back Lemmie and Jett.
