As a 64 yr old creator of the genre name "Scandinavian Progressive Metal" some 40 yrs ago (tongue in cheek, which to me means any and all progressive rock and metal I like), this album has blown me away, followed up with ADIS only because I had never heard of Earthside until a mention of LTTS in a Facebook progressive rock channel. They have been in my daily playlists for 2 months now. I'm encouraged by the statement of one band member about "never again" regarding taking 8 yrs to make an album - hopefully much sooner for the next one but realizing you have lives, and need to recover and rejuvenate before the next one. This album is so progressive it advances culture by ten years just by existing. My dog listened to it and grew opposable thumbs. The next day I found him knapping flint in the backyard.

I'm in both camps in the sense that I was left scratching my head wondering how this is ever gonna be topped. Glad to report that, months later, I'm still listening to this album every few days. Each song is such a journey that, once you even begin to grow tired of one, another peaks your interest again.

I was lucky enough to discover you only shortly before the release. No suffering the waiting for me though. Meanwhile you where over-checklisting somewhere down the rabbit hole. Your music was exactly what I needed to hear. Without searching for it, it found me, it took me on an emotional ride and since then brightens my days every time I listen to it.

Absolutely love the album! Admitted, it took a few rotations to click, but that's usually a good sign. It bears your signature sound that I've grown to love from your first album, and you've taken it to a point where every moment of the album is keeping the listeners individed attention. But if it was so stressful to make, maybe you find a way to make the next album 95% as good with 25% of the work and effort, because that would still make it a banger ;)

Yeah, after the first few listens, I was convinced that, from hearing the 'scale' of what's going on in there, that it must've been an absolute Everest of a challenge to get finished... no wonder it took 8 years!! But, the results speak for themselves. 😉 Also interesting to find out that Jamie (at least) likes 'Black Mirror' 😁

Sorry guys, but your debut was 10x better. Too much going on in this new album. Perhaps it'll grow more eventually. Title track is by far the best - Dan's vocals on that track are possibly some of the best ever recorded.
