I love them so much! I am bummed, tho. I missed them in Chicago tonight due to some unexpected car expenses last week. Couldn't afford the tix/gas this time 'round. Silver lining is they _are_ a US band, and with a new album coming soon (anybody know when?), they will likely be touring again next year. I won't miss them a second time! 😁

Did anyone else come undone listening to this?

So glad you liked it, Dean! Yes, Earthside are not human. They are angels in disguise. You can tell by their music, and the fact that they blink sideways. 😆

I saw them in Vancouver, it was astounding. And now I am the proud owner of an autographed drum head!

This track is emotionally visceral, visionary, and beautifully arranged. Wow

Love your thoughts at the end. When it comes to digesting music for me, I've found that often, a song I love on 1st listen, will leave me feeling burnt out by the 100th. Where as, much of the music that has had real staying power through my life, was ok on the 1st listen, getting addictive by the 10th, and life changing by the 100th. This was my experience with most Sonic Youth records.

Saw them with Vola Thurs night and it was an awesome show. Last time saw them was 2016. New album in the works and very nice guys.

What a killer track! I usually don't get into metal much but this song scratched all my prog itches. Maybe a bit too grandiose at times, with operatic backing choruses, and multiple crescendos. But this kind of storytelling via music (and great vocals) is music to my ears. Maybe time to get over my aversion to symphonic prog metal. Ps, I recommend a long symphonic rock song, The Conflict, on the album Sola Scriptua, by Neal Morse. Kind of a mixture of metal and rock, jazz, acoustic Flamenco/pan flute, with withering hammond organ solos...and Mike Portnoy at the tip top of his game. The best version of this song is off the album upload on Utube.
