@@stellarhades9517 For the most part I only really smoke Fentanyl and Meth now, I don't mind smoking weed but I haven't in years and I much prefer to eat edibles instead. DMT and SaIvia are both cool to smoke on occasion but I haven't come across either of them in forever. I gave cigarettes multiple chances a long time ago because people kept trying to get me to smoke them and would give me theirs to smoke, I refused to ever pay for them because I never felt a desire to smoke them and never smoked another one after I stopped hanging around those people. There was nothing enjoyable about smoking them, I've never been able to understand why people waste their money on them when all they do is deteriorate your body as well as your surroundings while also greatly increasing the chances that you'll die a slow horrific death, losing control of your bodily functions until all you can do is sit there in excruciating pain wishing for death to hurry up as others are keeping you alive. To be fair though people do look pretty cool when they smoke them.

I think it might be the other way around. Looking at the eyes and the effect that was on the doctor, Melvin’s angry eyes match the red eye effect just as well. Perhaps after hearing Melvin self deprecate so much, the worm picked up on it and well, did what Melvin would do when stressed. Melvin had more influence on the worm than they had on him.

Ideology just pushes people to go to extremes. Salads are absolutely great... with great steak or sausages. Going vegan for sake of "animal cruelty" have no idea how to raise or take care of animals, nor backbone to put them down before disease or age takes them, wasting the good meat. My family grows all kind of animals, most are for food, but we take care of them until old age and then do our best to put them down with out knowing what hit them ie painless death and then try to use every bit of them, so nothing goes to waste. Factory farming, sure i agree there is glaring issues with that, but laws are built to support them, not small farms where animals are individuals not just numbers. In the end its your choice what to eat, but long as you dont come to tell me i cant eat something or i have to eat this we are cool with it, its the vegan cultists that are the issue, like feeding full vegan diet to say dogs or cats that cannot eat it.

I feel like you’re right about the metaphor, but to add to what you said I feel like it’s about when you go about it in a way that the toxic party perceives it as, and then they tell their side of the story and manipulate people to listen to them rather than get both sides. @@a12fe154 To be fair we don’t know if the worm is the source of his misery, since he seems to be bitter, hateful, and anxious even by himself. Personally if this worm has been around for a long time I wouldn’t be surprised if the reason it told the doctor to kill himself was influenced by Melvin somewhat since they’ve been around them for so long. Living in the head (quite literally) of somebody like that is bound to make you nasty yourself. There also seems to be ties between the eye effect that flashed when the doctor was being effected and the eyes Melvin gets when he snaps, so who knows?

The small Junji Ito inspired designs and features crossed with Hunters own iconic brand of animation really come together to make something very unique here. It's got western gross out horror from the garbage pale kid stuff in the 80's and 90's but also a deeper message and some horrifying creature designs like a horror anime. Great Toon. Can't wait to see more.

Theres so much going on here, with the body horror, the dark psychological elements, to the weird codependency the monster has with Melvin and later the woman. This is very well done and reminds me of dissolving classroom or some of Itos more experimental works. Keep it up!

it wasnt a codependency, melvin didnt want or need it, it was a parasitic relationship, codependency means they each provide something the other craves, the relationship between the parasite and angela would be codependency but it was a one sided parasitic relationship between it and melvin.
