this might have been a botched Amber Alert activation as they played the wrong thing instead of the Amber Alert Siren, this will most likely be a isolated screw up, WBAP's been doing this on and off as of late, next North Texas Amber Alert, you watch the old scary siren return.

I don’t think they changed it, I think they played the wrong file by mistake. If the amber edis tone was changed I would know about it. I operate a radio station in north Texas so I would know. They will never change the edis tone as far as I know.
