Tips: if your water keeps flowing through portal and portal is not getting turn on so you can use a powder snow bucket it will also break the portal and won't flow Tip 2: the bigger the portal the higher the rates, the biggest portal possible is 22×22 Tip 3: add a simple trident killer it will make it automatic your trident will not loose any durability and will not despawn + Hold a looting 3 sword for higher rates

I haven't tested it, but I think that it either won't work as well or not at all as zombie piglin spawns are lower there (I think).

OK, so I looked it up, I'm sorry, my info was wrong. Go ahead and build it, the nether biome on the other side doesn't matter. It turns out that the zombie piglins actually spawn on the overworld side of the portal, rather than spawning in the nether and going through the portal to the overworld. So, once again, go ahead, he nether biome doesn't matter.

U can make a bigger one by making a 23x23 nether portal and you will get like 200 levels in like 6 hours of afking and 8 double chests of gold ingots and much more try and find the tutorial for it

@@SoulzBuzz Pigmen will spawn on East or South side of the portal. It's easier to know the direction with a locator map. Or if you're cheap like me, then just check the direction from where sun rises(this'll be East) and if you turn right. That'll be the South.

Built one opposite going into same stream but pigment spawn on the ground instead of the stream not sure what to do :/ the first one works perfect just wanted to double up, Update: Managed to fix my issue I was stupid, also recommend a blast furnace setup down in the pit as the golden swords generate a lot of gold nuggets so don’t destroy them as it’s a waste, if you want to go a step further there’s plenty of tutorials to build item sorters which you can then connect to the blast furnace maxing out your gains, definitely can combine this with other tips and ideas in the comments. Here’s a reminder: if you’re playing easy/normal mode, the spawn rate will be slower because the zombified piglins have a higher chance to spawn on the nether portal in hard mode. Enjoy your farm!😊

You can, but the portal has to be above Y=0. If it can't map to valid coordinates in the Nether dimension, then it won't spawn zombie piglins. I found out the hard way in a survival game, and then tested/verified in Creative just to make sure.

No, only the sunflower points in a specific direction. If you don't have a sunflower you can use a locator map to figure out which way east is.
