Question: when you apply that many little beads with cure times...does the end product “meld” together or does it have “weak” points?
@rosalinaruiz37113 жыл бұрын
From my understanding and what I know from my beginning education no weakness as long as you press it down enough when it’s still wet. With this slow cure monomer her leaving it alone for the first few seconds is having the same affect and it will meld together acrylic likes to stick to other acrylic. Think of it like clay. As long as you don’t put anything between layers it will just build up. That’s why it’s important to not touch the acrylic with your fingers before you finish adding all the layers because the oils from your finger will create weakness between the beads.

Ouch! The kits are SUPER expensive! $100 for monomor and powders, no brush or files or anything else!? Young Nails has excellent products (I have not used suzie's so I can compare hers to young nails) Their ( YN) acrylic kits come with EVERYTHING you need to do nails, including a very nice quality brush. Her files are $25 for 5 of them! Holly cow that's a lot of money. Try young nails instead, they are reasonably priced and the customer service is outstanding. Oh and their products are the best! Shipping is free for orders over $100. They have gel too, a trial kit is $20.

@Feather, Fur and Forensics I also combine different brands of powder & monomor. I always use YN monomor. I have some dip powder that doesn't harden the same as acrylic powder, I wonder if it might set up differently if I something other than YN monomor.....

Learned how to do Kiara Sky gelly tips last night with encapsulated glitter AND how to safely remove them as well. Today I will attempt how to do this. Thank you Suzie for your vids!
