Hey btw good luck on your move, and someday try to visit America. I recommend the east coast area or near the south. I myself live in Alaska

You should do a video with fluval substratum as many being saying they do miracles as peat substitute !

Hey man love yer vids cant wait for u to start over in england and produce some great content in the future. Anyways i have a drosera capensis potted in sphagnum moss, does it always have to sit on a tray of water or i should allow it to breath somewat between filling out the trays again? thanks!!

With sphagnum I’d definitely reccomend you let it dry out a bit, ensure it remains damp however. And thank you! I appreciate your kind words

What would you recommend for a substrate for a drosera capensis and a Venus flytrap?? I was going to do a 50/50 mix of peat and perlite. Should I use a different substrate?? Also I live in the northeast where winters sometimes get below zero. I should keep them indoors when the weather gets that cold right?? I’d I keep them out in the winter time the water in the dish will freeze

If I keep my plants outside in the winter the water in the dish will freeze. It gets extremely cold in winter time here. Sometimes get below zero conditions so it will probably die right??

Wow nice video But I have a question, So it's OK to water an drosera capensis tap water?
@TheFlytrapGarden2 жыл бұрын
Only if the tap water in your region has a low TDS

@@TheFlytrapGarden FYI, for those who don't know what TDS is: "Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) are all the good and bad elements in your drinking water. These can be organic and inorganic substances such as minerals, salts, metals, cations, or anions dissolved in water." - I had to look it up, as I am terrible at acronyms,

Thank you for your kindness! Unless you are looking for workers in your company there seems to be no other way for us sadly :( but it is ok 😁 we can always find happiness in other countries

@@TheFlytrapGardenyou could always fly into Ecuador or Peru or really any country in Central America and walk across the border. It’s really easy, hundreds of thousands do it each month and the biden administration will probably put you up in a fancy hotel in NYC and give you a free Xbox
