Thanks for the help. I just managed to beat this on apocalypse difficulty so let me give some advice for other apoc players: firstly, bring engineer and use impact cannon, it clears out the adds very effectively. Secondly, use status ailments this fire setup works pretty well but I used Merciless, the Twisting Wounds mutator, and a high spread reduction to inflict bleed quickly. Finally, STAY TANKY this applies to everything in apocalypse, but that madnesss effect is especially brutal if you dont have the regeneration to counter it

Just fought this guy on apocalypse. Only beat it with me and a buddy being max medic and him using an eternal medic build and me doing the same with a summon build. Shit was wild. Took us easily 30 minutes of no mistakes to take him down. Wild for a start to an apocalypse run.

i didn't have the tar available yet, so for me it was fire mod, all in on the flat thing, then charge by killing the mobs over and over, again fire salve the flat thing. that did the job

@@aceofspades11799 enigma takes care of the adds within a breeze. The problem is if you have no weapon that actually damages it whatsoever. I had to kill him with the enigma mod´s only, trying to recharge it as much as possible by killing adds ... lmao

Yeah this doesn't work for me. Maybe later on. I just have crap weapons and my dog. Level one. Have hardly any scrap. So vid is useless for first time goers. Dude already has 2nd archetype and great melee and shit. .

It definitely works. I did it with just a bow which was frustrating lmao. You can get hotshot at the beginning of the game but idk when you get the black tar grenade. I picked two up out in the world.

EVERYONE is ENCOURAGED to do at least ONE PLAYTHROUGH on survivor which is NORMAL difficulty you gigachad. Who gives a sht what difficulty others play it on? Your life must be so miserable that you actually put people down for that. But what’s funny is the DEVS even say everyone should have one go around in normal to get a hang of the game. So go outside and get a life. To the video poster, great guide. Unfortunately my Reggie doesn’t have the tar grenade and I’m 77 hours in lol
