That's a great guide to start with! I just bought my 1st camera, which is a Nikon Z5, and i had no clue how to even shoot on Auto mode . Even though i am not a native speaker, your description of the exposure function and it's 3 elements is fantastic! Thanks a lot!!!

Ralph Mayhew Photography Probably the exposure meter but I’m getting used to it as I experiment more and more!

The exposure meter is the key to manual photography it makes it so accessible and easy.

How slow a shutter speed can you reasonably expect to hold the camera steady without a tripod?
@RalphMayhewPhotography9 ай бұрын
It really depends the stabilisation on the lens (VR) the stabilisation in the camera (IBIS) and the stabilisation in your hands. I can hold it still for a second. Sometimes more but I’ve practised at night shooting a hotel while standing in the surf as it buffets you around.
