Good material @CVR POV! I am wondering which kind of a buffer pad you are using? I have a heavy cutting pad, medium polished pad, light cutting pad, fine grinding pad and a wool buffer. Which would you recommend to use as a final step to correct the paintwork after sanding?
@cvrpov12 сағат бұрын
Cutting pad then a soft polishing pad
@mag1stic8 сағат бұрын
@@cvrpov Thank you for the answer! It seems that you finally buffed the paintwork after 2 000 grit wet sanding. Would you recommend to use heavy cutting pad or light cutting pad to fix the scratches caused by the sand paper before polishing?

And what happens with the sun after 34 months the sun hits it and it starts peeling off and even looks worse so I would’ve used the sealer paint sealer glass oil, and finish it with a finish with a good wax Thursday different brands and it’s gonna give you about the same time just that you won’t get that ugly peeling on the plastic we always have to remember that the sun it’s very abrasive so yes it’s gonna look beautiful the first probably a couple weeks a month but I want to see those lights in three months

To much stuff, you need to try and use the Zvizzer dry sanding technique p2000 sanding paper on an air sander, then machine polish out with a Zvizzer cutting pad with there Zvizzer all in 1 compound and polish, saves lots of time wasted and gets the results better than the wet sanding technique you doing

How is your paint mixed to get gloss after polish? I live in the US and have to add clear and dont get the same results. Have yet to find a good touch-up that works as yours does. Know who i can get OEM colors from or same results?

I have the paint purchased from his website. It comes with a separate gloss enhancer which you add a few drops to the paint and mix before applying

Could you also use clear coat to fix scratches like the one on the door instead of colour matched paint & did the paint have gloss enhancer in when rubbing it on? 😊 Just purchased some 2k clear coat and accessories off paintgear to fix a couple of hairline scratches on mine. I think they're just clear coat damage so was hoping to just use some clear coat!

Usually a good indicator is if you wet the panel,the scratch disappears, this is usually when it's within the clearcoat
