I built a couple of pocket doors and now its time to mortise my pulls. I found your channel and guess what? - I have the exact same pulls! This video makes it so easy! Thanks!

This video and the other one about your pocket door exactly what I need to solve a tricky bit of floorplan. It’s out of my porch, so I’m gonna be doing a stained glass/screen door version. Did you ever find the source for those spring loaded floor pins?
@RightOnJonCrane4 ай бұрын
Hi Lindsey! It’s called a spring loaded floor guide pin if you do a google search. I did find it through this company- www.hangingdoorhardware.com/pocketdoors/pocketguides.htm It is $17.99 - You have to click on the color image in the listing to see it. Their website is not that good. It is metal and brown plastic. If you can’t find it on their site you can email me and I can help.

Another excellent video and fortuitous (for me) as I am about to make some router jigs for a museum project and can follow your design. Thanks for posting, Jon!

Is your router template bit a plunge version or you just use the angle trick with a non-plunge template bit?
@RightOnJonCrane Жыл бұрын
Hi Daniel! This one is not a plunge router. Yes I come in at an angle to start the cut. It’s a 1/2” bit with a 1/2” bearing on the top.
@RikoRey92 Жыл бұрын
I do the same but instead of making another jig I just put a collar that's 1/4 bigger than the bit
@ticktock11y8 ай бұрын
If the router trim bit is 1" in depth, that doesn't leave much room for the collar to ride on the 3/4" + 1/4" jig. But it looks like it worked out okay.
