Probably has to do with the fact that in the Pilot Gangle seems to be the most concerned (if not the ONLY one who's concerned) for Zooble getting disassembled and kidnapped by the Gloinks and being horrified when they get gobbled up by the Gloink Queen. Even Ragatha was rather passive about what happened to Zooble, and when they discuss with Pomni Gangle is in the background asking "What about Zooble?" To be fair, Zooble ain't exactly the nicest character (wants to go to their room and tells that anyone who needs them can F-off) and Caine would probably be able to fix Zooble afterwards with a snap of his fingers, so I can get why even Ragatha wasn't too concerned, therefore seeing Gangle caring so much makes some fans think that she's affectionate towards Zooble in a "warts and all" way. Or who knows, maybe Gangle would've had that reaction towards anyone getting in danger. Would be heartbreaking if she would've been worried and concerned for Jax being in peril and yet he'd continue to treat her like dirt afterwards XP
