Pro Tip: if you have a 4 door version and not a 2 door like Flexx, the lower rear window trim comes out the same way the lower front window trim comes out, take off the caps and insert a screwdriver and pull UP, then slide off

if you still haven’t gotten it. i just finished doing that part and i had the same problem. what i did i just put a towel on top of the end so i wouldn’t scratch it, and i just hit it really hard and it clicked in. it might take a few tries. make sure to hit it towards the bottom.

Don’t paint it. Plastidip it. So that way it’s easier to put on and easy to peel it. You can leave it matte or even put a gloss coat on it. Go watch the video. I used plastidip on the front lip. And in the future, I can always peel it right off. kzbin.info/www/bejne/b6PCgIFmqK2bnNU

it is buddy, I have the W207 too and this worked well. I found on ours that the boot/trunk chrome had extra glue as well as the clips so with that piece personally I took it away from the bodywork enough to get the edges of the vinyl round the side and tuck it all in without completely removing it and its turned out great. I will be removing the window trims this week and doing them.

I have searched occassionally after new window trims for my W204 for a few YEARS already and have had no luck. The chrome is peeling off and i ended up wrapping it but it does not look like new. Scrapyard seems to be the only option where to find new window trims.

I also messed up. The top window molding wouldnt unclip at the middle and I bent the fucking plastic and now it wont clip back): you can probably find it from a website selling oem mercedes parts.
