This my first time doing this and this was easy to follow. I did accidently get my files corrupted on my USB when I went to update the firmware for the first attempt. Thank goodness it was just my USB.

@Space_Scorpion I went back and I downloaded the specific CEX file. I chose the no disk on accident. It worked for me and I hope this helps.

Trophies should be fine since its tied to your psn account, and savedata depends on if the hard drive gets formatted in this process because game data is stored locally. (I dont think it gets formatted but I havent done it yet so we'll see)

I chose PEX and was able to softmod my ps3 successfully. btw, ps2 games wont run right away with IRISMAN, so install webMAN-Mod (from the same website of IRISMAN) to the ps3 like you did with IRISMAN. Move your ps2 games to the PS2ISO folder and you should be able to play persona 3 and 4 without trouble. goodluck!

I download. the newest version CFW 4.91.2 Evilnat Cobra 8.5 /D-PEX (Beta 10). I must extract to orders and have two md5.´s.... i took the D-PEX order and extract this the pup.up file agrees and i go to ps3toolset again. after your intructions i reebot my console and want to update the new version... data are defekt... i hope you understand me What could i have done wrong?
