I have a little bit of play in my right one. I have to put tension rearward on that side match up the lines keep holding tension on that side then tighten the rear axle . Makes adjustments a little trickier. I didn’t notice till I bought a second set for my wife’s bike.

I wasn't really sold on these until I saw your video. I like to go camping on my grom and my chain needs constant adjustment, I hate the stock ones. Looking at this for my next upgrade!

I've never actually measured my chain deflection with a ruler, however shouldn't you measure the total deflection from pulled down to pulled up rather than the way you did it? Nice bit of kit.

Probably, although I just checked and from resting, the bottom portion of the chain only deflects downward a couple of mm so not a significant difference.

I have these on my 2022 grom, price is a little steep, but the value of it is unmatched. way way easier chain adjustment with just an allen key instead of fiddling around with the wrenches, the swingarm spools and it all being captive, so much easier to take the rear wheel of to change sprockets.

Chain tensioner for the drive chain? Why would you need one?

@@eastcoastish Some bikes I had came with a white plastic tensioner near the rear sprocket for constant tension. Eventually would need adjustment, but would take much longer.

I’m not aware of any mini-specific sites. eBay, OfferUp, Craigslist occasionally have deals but it’s a weird market right now.
