Sonia couldn't have kept Chloe in the house forever, as soon as the police arrived they would have smashed the door in and arrested Sonia for kidnapping. She started all this when she gave Chloe up for adoption and she changes her mind now when it's too late? "She'll be wearing different clothes, acting different and be a different person" She should have thought of that before

Sonia was warned not to give her daughter up. Robbie warned her and she was stubborn. Even Jamie wanted to help her raise her. Carol had all her kids. She gave her up. She may have birthed her but once she gave hers up for adoption, the adopted parents were her parents. She got her back but because they died otherwise maybe she couldn't have given her back.
