Germany is talking about forced military service. France is puting troops in and that will lead to others doing the same. If they push Russia, Russia will flatten Ukraine with who ever is in it. Russia has there military industry up and running full blast. Between equipment and artillery, they will be able to bring a real war. I believe once Putin is pushed to that point, he will invade Europe, starting with Poland. If the US doesn't support all the European nations, Russia will destroy everything.

While they adored many aspects of American culture, it was clear that they were disgusted by our military escapades. Nowadays, I cannot even speak to the average Swede about such things without being accused of being a Putin Puppet or some other childish thing. My position and rhetoric hasn't changed, as I've been alert to what my homeland was up to since Iraq in 2003, but the massive amount of fear porn doled out in the media here has done what it was intended to do. Sweden has done an about-face in both rhetoric and action, eager to present herself as a first line of defense against the border of Russia and in the Baltic Sea. They went from complaining about the USA's role as 'world's police' to all too eager to sign a Defense Cooperation Agreement with them in December of last year (while waiting for NATO membership). This gives the US military access to 17 bases here. The paranoia and panic is real, and I find it both fascinating and terrifying to behold. Sweden's government seems to be willing to do whatever it takes to hang out with the big boys. Their first NATO mission will be sending 1200 troops to Latvia sometime before summer. I have a familiar, foreboding feeling about this.

Look - if young Poles must go to jail, then do so. Muhammad Ali (known as boxer Cassius Clay in the 60's) refused military service in the US military during the Vietnam War. Ali lost his license to box, probably several millions dollars, and spent a short time in detention. What Ali gained was not his boxing license back - it was an enduring gratitude from men like me who admired him for being unwilling to be a stooge for the US government. No, Ali would have not gone to Vietnam with a rifle company. He would have been used to box exhibitions and basically recruit for the US Army - but his integrity as a man was such that he could not be used by the corrupt US government.

I'm italian. I married a polish woman who was born in Ukraine. The situation is dramatic. Ukraine is a filed country and, in the future, will disappear. Why? Because it has too many debts with Western countries and the USA. It's disgusting to see how ukrainians were used like meatballs by the USA and NATO. It's clear to me that now it's the turn of polish people. I would cry because I love Poland. There, I found my wife, and now my child is a polish citizen too. History didn't teach to polish that it is better to don't have a war at home? I am of german ancestors, and last time, the Second Polish Republic was defeated in less than 1 month by the Wehrmacht. The corrupted politicians arrived there, too. As always, they're using the nationalism and the self-esteem of the population to have martyrs for the war against Russia. 10 years of good economy are not showing that now Poland is a superpower. Poland was used by western élite to be the country where to transfer all the great industries from western Europe where the salaries and cost of the work are the double. I'm without words when a good percentage of polish are enthusiasts to go fight Russia. Remember that your beautiful country could return to be a ruin like in 1939. I am worried because Italy is in NATO, too, and we could be involved in this craziness. If it starts war, I'll go immediately to Argentina. I'll be a renegade, but the only important thing is my life. My child needs a father alive, not a hero six feet under. My grandfather was able to return from the Don, and he said clearly that war is the hell on the heart. Nothing values our personal life. In june 1976 polish govt. In warsae, Raised food prices significantly. On hearing this news, workers of Ursus tractor factory in a warsaw suburb. Spontaneously stopped work and demanded govt. reps to come to Ursus for talks. The govt. refused. In response the workers, dismantled the railroad track next to the factory. That track was used by trains such as Paris Moscow express. Now the govt delegation showed up at Ursus in 15 minutes for talks which led to prompt cancelletion of increase of food prices. People have more power than they imagine if they act in unity. Mandatory military servce is more dangerous to life than raised food prices.

I cannot even share or mention this to friends or family who refused to hear my 'negativity',they want to enjoy everyday life and manifest rainbows. .... I was in the same position when war in Ukraine started and mass migration to Poland started, or during the COVID, people did not wish to talk about the vaccines. Now I watch some of them being very ill and I cannot say much again. It's painful but also beyond frustrating because all I can do is to watch things unfold. People refuse to hear the truth and this is the biggest challenge, that's why things do not change for the better.

Time for all the polish people to put up their names as conscientious Objectors meaning they will not use weapons to kill anyone. This is a legal statement allowed in the European union and United Nations NATO services over conscription in to armed forces. Also people can use their Christian religion which is thought shalt not kill.

These are called : Peace time preparations for conflict. Britain did the same in middle 1938 and through 1939. Can women be called to military service 6 month after giving birth? It is cruel. Will they have kindergardens in baracks (I guess civil kindergardens accept children 1 year old and older)? I looked at this law. It's basically just a revision of an expired law detailing how conscription would be done, if and when, it is reinstated. Poland had conscription up until 2008.
