On the other hand, while visiting EU I had no such problems, let's skip Lithuania and Poland, germans, austrians and slovaks are all had no problem with understanding where I was from and almost all of them were aware of "cockroach" situation so they were friendly and supportive (that was kinda unexpected because of belarusian and russian propaganda were telling about hostility of europeans towards simple dudes from Belarus).
