TVW-7 Perth borrowed this at the time so that they could try and have the same sorta success story as Brisbane. It backfired big time, and this campaign did not last long at all. Brisbane, in the end, were the big winners, for having a true original. This is just a borrowed version of Love You Brisbane.

They actually borrowed this at the time to try and get the same amount of attention as Brisbane, but it was Brisbane who ended up being the big winners. This version of the campaign did not last long, because Channel 7 Perth specifically borrowed the campaign, with the city’s name being changed to Perth.

@@Gerardus1970These days, when Queensland is at the top of everyone’s priorities, people are flocking to the Gold Coast in droves, instead of Brisbane. Either that or there are Brisbane residents who are pacing up and moving to the Gold Coast, or are simply migrating to Regional Queensland, and if so, right away from the state’s capital. Particularly in the Wide Bay or Mackay districts. Then again, people are moving over to other cities in other states, like Perth, as seen here, or the regional areas, particularly tourist hotspots like Broome.
