Pancreatic cancer is awful! My best friend of 25+ years lost his mom on 11/17. She was like a second mom to me, it’s horrible. Live everyday and love everyday!

Even though it's terminal cancer, keep the hope going! My husband also was diagnosed with terminal cancer and is alive after they said he would make it because at the time they put him in palliative care (Jan. 2019). They are shocked, but God isn't!

Seriously, Secret Santa...God Bless you. My Mother died of pancreatic cancer. It was an even crueler disease back in that year. She woke up yellow...she jokingly referred to herself as "Old Yeller" like the Dog movie. The surgeon, a good friends Dad, came out far too soon (they thought it was stones blocking bile ducts). He said what it was, he said she was "full of" the cancer. He said maybe six weeks (we pressed him). We learned that by the time one had symptoms it was "too late" & it was called, "the Silent Killer", then. We took Mom home, my sister and myself and took care of her for the right weeks she lived after that day. I'm glad they can now treat it. I pray for the day they can cure it. God Bless this Family and give them Peace.

I really feel for this woman. I lost my wife to breast cancer nearly 2 years ago now, we knew she was terminal for 3 years and she fought tooth and nail for as many days as she could get. It's truly hard to watch someone you love slowly slip away from you never knowing which day will be the last, I hope this wonderful gift helps brighten their lives a little and helps them make some lasting memories together in the time he has left. It feels good to open your heart even when facing a loved one's end on this earth. The best way to heal afterwards is to thank God repeatedly for the time together, and the opportunity to care for your loved one. Her pain appeared to run deep, and silently when her voice cracked a couple times saying, "Thank you, etc.". Nate has a natural ability to ease pain for the moment with his impeccable timing.
