The sight is quite interesting. I’ve been thinking of changing to a single pin slider and this might fit for my aging eyes. I’m also impressed by how quiet the bow is. Thanks for sharing

Nice set up I use a trophy ridge sights on my hoyt carbon matrix but the 2013 model still my choice in sights

So I won this sight in a contest, and am new to archery. Is it a good idea to sight in the bottom pin at 30 yards? Or will that mess up the technology.

Yeah don't do that. The only way to calibrate the sight is the way shown here.

When you set using yardage at 50, you should've went to 60 or 40 or 30 yards; not stayed at 50 yards and said "it better be right on". Yea it better... because you just set it at 50 yards. 🙄

I just bought one of these, I am 62 and the multiple pin sight is not doing it for me. I plan to mount and calibrate it this weekend.

Just purchased one of these Sights, has anyone had any issues with this Sight defaulting from Meters to Yards on power down and Power up ?? I’m still awaiting an Answer from Bear before I return it ??

I hate those kind of lcd screens. After a few years they'll all turn black due to the adhesive rot/age. I'll never get another lcd screen device that I need to keep for long. All of them turn black eventually.

I can’t use that cause Oregon says no electricians of any kind and on any of your weapons. Kinda sucks but that’s what happens here

You can add a sight tape on the back side and the electronics can be removed with just a screw(s) when hunting. When not hunting, the electronics can be added back on with the screw(s) and still is calibrated.

needs to have an automatic shut off like after 4 hours like truglow does. how many hunters going to plug there bow in every night. I like idea but see that being issue.

Can you input every yard ? Can you set it up for different arrows so you have pre set setting for say arrow 1 arrow 2 and arrow 3 .

Has anyone found any accuracy issues at longer distances with using the FPS vs the step back method? I know human error plays a role at times just as an overall question.

IMO, it will take far to much time to range your animal then adjust your dial to that yardage and make the shot. Great idea in principal but fixed pins allow for quicker shots on target . Perfect world broadside standing in a scrape sure moving behind a doe trying to stop him difficult.

Not really with todays modern equipment, especially if you pre range landmarks. However with my setup set to 35yds I can shoot from 15-50yds with 1 pin

lol u never actually have shot a compound have you? no matter the tech it still comes down to a person, an arrow, a bow and his or her ability to draw, hold, keep your aim and hit your target. This site only helps initial aim as do all sites. It is still you that has to hold, not shake off target, release and hit target.

The sight gives you a digital read-out and cabirates your sight tape electronically.

I have the older non digutal model and i concur the digi readout would be bonus. Is it too much to ask for somebody to make a one pin slider with th iq stle paralax error eye on it? Recently purchased the garmin aero and im not sold on that just yet either...i am a 1 pin guy, in an elevated ohio blind, and theres been several target animal ops that ive sat for 50 days or more to occur, and with a crossbow itd been a done deal but with ranging and sliding sight the op was missed. Maybe someone has frankensteined iq retical on trophy ridge slider i dont know. Always enjoy anything Eastman since the 80s...thank you.
