I AM a big fan of peanuts--boiled, roasted, raw, or whatever--so this recipe intrigues me. Bet this would be nice on a hot day if chilled; thanks for posting 🙂

Never tried this, it's not in our culture here in France but I want to try it so bad to make like a sirup to put in pancakes, crêpe and wafles 😅. Want to try the regular recipe too of course !

Mmm it sounds a bit weird to boil peanuts, however I am willing to try this recipe when I'm in Taiwan next year 😊

ahh that makes sense (that taiwan has a specific variety of soft boiling peanuts). I dumped a spoonful of dry roasted peanuts in my oatmeal when i ran out of my usual sunflower seeds...did not taste good

Interesting, I normally have peanuts in my oatmeal. I make mine with: oats, flex meal, dry roasted peanuts, raisins, and pumpkin spice.

@@aldenpartridge4773 hmm maybe i should add some spice. Biting into large peanuts while eating plain oatmeal feels a little strange

@@rosecolouredglasses The dry roasted peanuts I find in the stores where I live are about raisin sized. Might just be a difference in what is called "dry roasted peanut" where we live.

I wonder if you can use baking soda to tenderize it? Chef use it to tenderize meat and potatoe.

You can😊 I just don't because of the slight flavor and sodium. But I'm sure some ppl do. In general though I find peanuts do need some time to get to the stage we want it
