A very interesting idea for low clearance parking structures. I see dealers and repair shops using something like this as well to move cars around that are in for repairs and not drivable, where space is also at a premium.

in the uk the idea of this it to collect cars where trucks cant get to , multi story car parks and under ground lost keys ect

Oui avec une voiture a propulsion équipée d une bva mise sur. P on peut tout casser en faisant tourner les roues arrières. Les spécialistes pour casser les voitures c est la fourrière avec de telles méthodes.

Astucieux mais on voit tourner les roues de la camionnette moralité si on a une vitesse enclenchée ou un bva on Pete la boite.

its pretty cool but I dont understand what it is really for ----- Cant a towtruck do most of what is shown here and not need to be loaded up and hauled to the next vehicle ? also I know from experience rubber tracks on hard surfaces wear out very quickly and are very hard to steer, usualy causing jerky movements

this is a very expensive toy that cannot ever repay its outlay personally i cannot see how it can be useful for one day per week in any workshop factory

It's a loss leader. Or along those lines. You get that juicy government contract because they need it 4 times a year. You are getting 600 tows a year from the contract, but you wouldn't get the contract without the specialty equipment. Jimbob's towing down the street lost the contract because they wouldn't buy the new gizmo the government requires.

This will never become an industry standard unless it became a fully autonomous robot (to eliminate labor costs..) It's just too slow, complicated and unnecessary to justify. -
