Wow, I use a similar setup using the Aputure HR672 as the key and the H-198 as my fill. Just switched over to the Atomos Ninja Flame on my GH4. Great video, cool setup!

This is a really great video, Brandon. Your audio quality has improved so much since you've gone with the H6! Thanks so much for sharing your setup. We have super similar setup, 1Dx II, with Canon 50mm f/1.2, Aputure COB 120, and Zoom H6! I've had my Zoom H6 for years but was too lazy to use it for KZbin Audio because of the extra process of syncing in post. But you've convinced me that it's totally worth the effort! Thanks! Keep the great videos coming. You're going to hit 10k before you know it. Full steam ahead!

Great stuff as always, Brandon! Quick question for you: I'm debating between getting a Small HD monitor or the WiFi dongle-thingy for the 1DXII. (Don't get me started on the price of that doohickey after already having bought a nearly $6,000 body...) Anyway, while I know the monitors have more color/focus features than the free Canon app, getting the WiFi seems like it would enable me to use the Canon app, which is the only thing I've found that has tap-to-focus as well. Plus it'd have WiFi capabilities then - but no focus peaking, zebras, false color, zoom, etc. Do you have experience with either (SmallHD monitor or WFT-E8A), and can you comment on which you'd suggest, especially for use mounting to the Crane 2 and using for a studio set-up like in this video? Thanks again for putting out great tutorial / gear content! 👍

The only issues with the wifi thing for video is there will be a bit of a delay to the phone screen. If you are getting it to just help with framing then it will work. But If you want to truly monitor exposure, color, or focus I would got with the small hd.
