I use a half of a whole wheat pita- so split the pita not cutting the circle in half but splitting so that you have two full round circles :) this gives you a much larger pizza and for carbs the half a pita is about the same or less to one english muffin :) I love to make my pizza with 1 slice of bacon, 2 rings of hot peppers, 1/4 of a ring of pineapple chopped fine (goes further), 2 slices of pepperoni (the super thin cut about the size of a toonie) about 2 tbsp of grated low fat mozzerlla and 1tbsp of pizza sauce. This is one of my go to dinners and girl...this absolutely leaves you satisfied and imo, BETTER than a regular pizza crust ! Enjoy :)

I do this same pizza using a pita split in two pieces (lengthwise) and freeze them individually so I always have them on hand for the I am hungry and I don’t know what to eat meals.
