You’re the man. Sometimes being the “lead” guitarist in a band can be overly demanding... you play the style we play and you’ve been invaluable as I develop solos and embellishments for our all original hard rock songs... as long as you don’t replace me we’re all good! Much love to you and your family, Mr. Baker...always looking forward to the next video!

Rob you really got some classy gear. I have looked at a great deal of lesson videos and I connect the most with you, David Brewster and Uncle Ben Eller (not so much because of his skill level and teaching style but on account of he’s my step dad). But your tone is very appealing to me. Glorious mids.

The Home Sweet Home solo. The fastest part of the solo is just a repeating pattern in one position. You don't even need to move. Plus that solo is just fun

That 5th Interval lick is actually a Joe Satriani one, who taught it to Steve Vai, who then made it popular by putting it into a tonne of solos!

There’s millions of men shredding this well in their bedrooms which I think is great. There’s also millions of men who put down Noel Gallagher saying he can’t solo. Who would you rather be or who’s skills would you rather have? Would you rather be great singer song writer with good guitar skills and loads of money who can sell out stadiums in minutes...or spend hours learning to shred and loosing out on years of socialising and missing out on life where you will get experiences that help you write songs? People are technically better then ever on guitar but music isn’t improving at all in originality
