Easy Alternate Tunings with Nancy Wilson

The third open tuning she demonstrates is D-A-D-F#-A-D. Very similar to Jimmy Page's frequently used DADGAD.

That was cool. Nancy showed you all Drop D, Double Drop D, and Open D tunings. Now if she had shown you DADGAD tuning. There are also some really cool D tunings that go back to the latter 19th century-early 20th century, so called Parlour Guitar tunings. They are a trip also. LedHed Pb 207.20 🎶 🎸 🎹

I never messed with alternate tunings because it basically means having to relearn how to play the guitar.

Not the way I play..and I LOVE alternate tunings! I'm a 'just show me where to put my fingers' kind of player, so in that respect it doesn't matter at all what the tuning is.
