Cooker Mushroom Matar Pulao Recipe:
Oil - 1 tbsp
Ghee - 1 tbsp
Cinnamon - 1 no
Green Cardamom - 3 nos
Cloves - 3 nos
Cumin Seeds - ½ tsp
Bay Leaf - 1 no
Ginger Garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Curd - ¼ Cup
Mushroom (halved) - 400 grams (2 packets)
Water - 1 ½ Cups
Basmati Rice - 500 grams
Salt - 1 ½ tsp
Green Peas - 1 Cup
Coriander Leaves - 2 tbsp
Instructions:
1. Wash and soak the rice for 20 minutes
2. Heat a pressure cooker, add oil and ghee.
3. Add the whole spices and let it crackle
4. Add ginger garlic paste and saute for a minute
5. Add the curd and saute for a few seconds
6. Add the mushrooms and saute on a high flame for a few minutes till it lets out water
7. Add the green peas and saute for a few seconds
8. Add water, salt and let it heat up.
9. Add the soaked and strained rice and mix well till the mixture starts to boil
10. Close the cooker and pressure cook on a medium to high flame for 2 whistles.
11. Turn off the flame after 2 whistles and let it rest while the steam reduces gradually
12. Open the cooker, add ghee and fluff the rice
