Guys!! So i made this following her intrustions, OMG!! it taste just like the tres leches you get from the store... when she said "so delicious" she wasn't lying.... My husband LOVED it and my friends were devouring it. It's very easy to make and very delicious 😍 you guys don't know what you are missing out lol

Wow just made this for a party and it was amazing!!! Everyone loved it. I followed it exactly...except for the whipped topping I put in 2 tbsp of powdered sugar instead. Also I don’t have Mexican vanilla so I used regular. Thank you!!! This is going to be a staple of mine :)

I made mine lastnight and my family and I just tried it this afternoon and my goodness was it delicious!! I love it because it is super moist, every other recipe I looked at the cake looked as though it comes out dry and not runny. It was so so easy to make as well. Claudia, I don't know if you ever tried it this way, but my recipe is all the same for the bread but I make the milk with just 1 can of condensed milk, 1 can evaporated milk, and 1 can of Nestle table creme in Spanish its called media crema. As for the whip cream for the top of the cake I take the lazy way out and use Cool Whip. 😂😂 its delicious. Hope you make it for your family to try. Its not to sweet at all.

This is a great recipe! I've made it many times, but I wasn't happy with the texture at first. I also found it to be somewhat greasy. I now use a yellow cake mix, 5 eggs instead of 3 (reduce water by 1/2 cup also), and I use whole milk instead of half & half. Now it comes out with the perfect texture and isn't greasy! I’ve never thought to use a food processor to whip but now I know I can start whipping when my mixer is in use. I usually make huge cakes with different flavors and toppings so all my appliances are usually running. Thanks for the tip!

This is the best east tres leches recipe on KZbin….trust me I have tried others and thier milk mixture is slightly too sweet because they do 1/3 whipping cream and the can of evaporated milk and condensed but your measurements is perfect!!! I love how u use two cups of half and half it makes it taste better! If I didn’t find this video I would have gave up making this! Thank u so much

I just made your tres leches cake for my granddaughters birthday. She absolutely loved it as well as everyone else. I was told it was better than any Mexican store bought tres leches cake, and we thought they were so yummy!!! One thing I did add was a large can crushed pineapple in heavy syrup right before I put the whipped cream on top. It was so yummy and thanks so much for the recipe ♥️

I've never had this before but am wanting to try it. I have my shopping list ready and will make it on Sunday. Going to top it with fresh strawberries and peaches as I eat a slice.
