I admire you so much! So creative. I’m 62 yo mom, Nomi and I’ve been wanting chicks since age 5! Got 3 Mother’s Day! Just finished bldg our coop, my son and hubby did an elegant condo. So we r about to take them from a dog kennel to their coop for 1st time in a few minutes! I’m going to build yr swing asap.

Just for context, those houses are Bronte era. That means three centuries old. Not bad. The cheap cardboard garbage we have here in the US doens't last much longer than sixty years. If I could I would get one and restore it. Just have to figure out 1. how to transport the repair supplies. 2. How to put in the plumbing. I have seen old houses in Wales with restored plumbing. It can be done. 3. How do you put one of those full length floor beams in? They don't bend in the middle and 4. Need to invent my perpetual motr to make the electricity. I don't see andy eletric pylons. Oh we.. It is a fun thought.

A pile of leaves with treats at the bottom keeps them entertained and makes them work for their food. Pile it back up the next day

If that falls on your girls, not good. I would secure the slanted roof more. Good idea though.
