Nicely presented. But how did a choice of endings for dualism ever arise, and is one favoured in the Quran? Also, we say 'in the middle of a sentence' or 'in the middle of a word' rather than use 'between', which implies being in the middle of two things.

Hezekiah Sta. Romana Not for Verbs..and pronouns.. It is applicable over all Nouns, advejctives (Ism)

I have a question. Is the way we pronounce a word different from how it is spelt? For example, we spell the word house as 'baytun' with dhammahtain. But when we pronounce, what is the correct pronounciation? Is bay-t or baytun? I see some pronounce it as bay-t some pronounce it as baytun. So confusing. Then when we spell it, do we actually need to include the dhammahtain on the letter 'ta'?

Yes... Whether it is masculine or feminine doesn't matter.. all Arabic ism is turned into dual by adding aani/ayni

@@nazmiah8734 you will learn that as you move forward. By default we are supposed to use Case 1. But there will appear certain scenarios which will cause the Case 1 to change into Case 2 or Case 3. It will depend upon the grammar. Example: any ism that follows a preposition will be in Case 3.
