I LOVE THIS!! The whole idea! 💞🌏 My only worry is that it'll smell all musty. I think I'd "unwrap" as soon as POSSIBLE. Once dry through enough for colour to be embedded in fabric is what your point is, I believe. Dye soaked through inside AND out and drying? Suggestion for you from my times with no washer. And hand washing hand knits! Wrap in a towel to wring dry just right. Rolled tight it'll be like spinning it but rolled in and/or GENTLY wrung you SHOULD get a good even result, I would think. 👌 Thank you again!! ☮💛🕯

cool, how good does it stay on the clothes after washing? and does it not miss color other stuff?

I almost only dye using this method because I love it so much! It stays on clothing longer than most transitional dye methods and as long as you let it dry completely after applying the color it doesn’t transfer at all!

@@TabsLife its not necessary that you soak it in soda ash then?

Do you need medium or alcohol. Recipe for another kind says 10ml each vinegar and glycerin 20 ml water ratio of 1:2 or 1:5

hey tabs life did your colors mix a little and like turn brown when it was done?

I do always make sure to follow the color wheel when tie dying, so not putting obvious opposite colors next to each other at the cost of them mixing to a brown color when applied. But aside from that as long as you let it COMPLETELY dry before washing you won’t have any colors mixing. In my opinion this method is best to avoid mixing colors even over a typical fabric dye.

hi quick question, does your tshirt get stiff right after?

Athirahman Albar From my experience the shirt is a tad bit stiff once it completely dries. I just throw it in the washer with a little extra laundry softener and that softens it back up!
