That's a version of a dump cake. Similar to cobbler but different. Cobbler doesn't use a box of cake mix. The batter is cup of flour, a cup of sugar (I use 3 1/4 cup), and a cup of milk. A cup and a cup and a cup.

For a deeper golden brown color and a little more of a crunch to your cobbler/crisp, cut a stick of BUTTER (not oleo!) into thin pats and cover the entire top, going all the way to the edges. Then, bake @ 350° for 30-40 minutes until golden brown and beautifully bubbly. Great warm with whipped cream or ice cream. Oh so yummy and definitely NOT a healthy, good-for-you fruit dessert! It's OKAY to live a little! 😊 EDIT: I was looking at other comments and realized that people commented that this recipe sticks to the pan and figured out that I missed how she started this. When we make this we start with a lightly butter pan but we also put a can of crushed pineapple with all the juice in the bottom of the pan and then add frozen fruit or more popular pie filling. You could use THINLY sliced fresh fruit or fresh berries, as well. 😊

I would of put butter on top with your 7up 400 degrees oven for an hour until nicely golden brown top on your crust 😋 & then enjoy the way you did it doesn't look done enough for me keep it the oven longer 😉
