This week I show you guys a quick, easy way to make FRESH Cinnamon rolls at camp! Using the Tembo Tusk Skottle and its accessories (Grill and cover) we create a steam effect on the skottle that mimics an oven to steam bake these rolls on the trail!
What you'll need for Cinnamon Rolls:
Tembo Tusk Skottle with Grill and Cover
12" Pie Pan
Cooking oil to spray the pan down
1 can of cinnamon rolls
1-2 cups of water for the skottle to boil below the grill plate
Instructions:
1. Pre-heat the skottle by adding water and bringing to a boil under the grill top
2. Oil the pan and place cinnamon rolls evenly in the pan
3. Place pan on the skottle for 20 minutes (make sure the water doesn't evaporate)
4. Check to make sure cinnamon rolls are no longer gooey in the middle then turn the skottle off
5. Add a dollop of icing to each, cover it up and let it sit for a few minutes for the icing to spread evenly as it melts
