Chili Mac MREs are my favorite. I've had every single Adventure Meal and their Chili Mac is the one I didn't even like.

All but the meals that include rice, I use an onze or 2 of less water. With every meal I ALWAYS give it a few extra minutes to rehydrate.

At its minimum..... it was only a fair evaluation of three meals. The evaluation/taste test could have been done a little better, but suffice it to say your friends didn’t like the chili entree..... but didn’t elaborate why they didn’t, nor did they have anything positive to say about the entrees they actually liked. Next time maybe give us some positive information to persuade your subscribers to go out and actually buy the Mountain House brand...

I don’t get why these event exist? Lmao. They look disgusting and are like $9 a bag and require only hot water. You can buy large cans of any sort of high brand soup and some don’t even require water, just pour in a pot and cook for 3 mins, and is tastier and a way lower cost? Lmao. What is wrong with people? Blows my mind. Would be like me choosing a $200 flip phone over a brand new $50 iPhone 15 or something lol.

They work for me but not for everyone. I just leave them in my truck. They are quick easy and can eat out the bag.

I find it ironic that nobody that reviews these meals even mentions the fact that the instructions tell you to use an inadequate amount of boiled water for these meals. If you follow the instructions and measure the boiled water he will end up with half cooked half dried crispy pouch of garbage!
